Weather: warm sunny light breeze clouding over pm .

A dawn trip to the lighthouse rewarded us with a perfect Spring sunrise and filled us with hope for some great birds we weren't disappointed

Lingham lane was a hive of activity bird wise with 10 Blackcap 8 males and 2 females the males were singing the length of the lane joining the chorus were Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff both species easily reached double figures

Bird of the day was an eagerly anticipated Ring Ouzel 
At the entrance to the old brick works it may have been the same one that was seen at parkfield within the same hour.

Other birds on lingham lane were a Grey Partridge could be the same bird as seen  the other week and a Grasshopper Warbler was heard reeling by the  kissing gate,

The usually busy paddocks were quite quiet apart from 6 Lesser Redpoll that briefly stopped in the trees, the regular pair of Stonechat flitted in and out of the top paddock ,11 Wheatear Were in the area between Kerr's field and park lane and a Tree Pipit flew calling over the western kissing gate .

At Dove Point waders on the groyne included Redshank , Dunlin, knot, Grey Plover, Turnstone, Oystercatcher and Ringed plover , further off shore were Sanderling , Sandwich Tern, and 7 Little Gull, 

Other birds of note were 2 Grasshopper Warblers at the Gunsite, An Oystercatcher on lingham lane with an unusually long beak and a leucistic Woodpigeon on park lane
